ADT - Saudi Arabia

Two weeks on the road…

Hello everyone, hope this finds you well wherever you are in the world. Just writing this on the way to the airport in Saudi Arabia… Been a busy couple of weeks where we have had the standard up and downs of professional sport.

We started things off last week with a nice win at the Centurion Pro Am in Dubai at Trump and Dubai Creek, before getting straight onto a flight to Bahrain to play the King Hamed trophy at the Royal golf Club. Didn’t play my best in Bahrain but could feel the game was trending nicely and after round 1, found out that I received an invite to play in the final Asian Development Tour event in Saudi Arabia.

After a quick flight back to Abu Dhabi, 22 hours of Daddy daycare, washing and catching up with Lauren, it was straight back on a flight to Saudi Arabia for the practice round at Rolling Hills Golf Club.

Apart from round three 65(-7) there was not too many fireworks this week and it was close but no cigar for the most part. The course was proper funky but the more I played it the more I enjoyed the challenge of tiny, undulating greens and thick, juicy rough! A cut made and middle of the pack was not what I was hoping for, but the game is feeling good and hope to build on that in a couple of weeks when I head to Thailand for first stage of Asian qualifying.

Hope you all have a great weekend and will keep you updated how it goes in Asia in a few weeks

Cheers Luke
