Mena/ADT Event 2 - Laguna Golf Club, Thailand

Mena/ADT Event 2 - Laguna Golf Club, Thailand

It’s getting there, but not quite…

Unfortunately today was a solitary, sweaty practice session on the final round of event two of the Mena/ Asian Development Tour Thailand swing.

For 34 holes of the event I would say my game was in a very chilled, methodical and controlled way, I hit it solid and gave myself plenty of chances which was great. The two other holes were quite frankly just random, two triple bogeys from nowhere lead to two rounds of 70 (level par) and another missed cut by a couple of shots this time around. Disappointed with the result, but learning that the process is improving each week and need to just keep working at it.

I will be honest it is nice to be able to get stuck in on my game at the moment and have some time to just golf, but finding the down time pretty tough this week being away from Hugo and Lauren. I’m constantly trying to find things to do, to try and keep my mind occupied which is a little tricky when your trying to get ready for events. Each day is a learning experience though and one that I have to embrace going forward. Have the day off tomorrow and then back at it on Thursday for a practice round at a new course which is about 30 minutes away from where we are staying. Then have the third event starting Friday- Sunday so will keep you posted how that goes.

Have a great week and look forward to sending some good vibes and better scores in my next blog
