This week was another week on the road and unfortunately another disappointing result.
I was playing at a course called Manning’s Heath near Horsham and was another fiddly, undulating layout that just didn’t really suit my eye.
Not really going to go too much into it. Rounds of 72(level) 69(-3) was not good enough for the half way cut and to be honest, I think another round playing at the course this week might have got me to put the clubs away for a while.
My Game is actually feeling pretty good, happy with a lot of things apart from my scoring and very much looking forward to a golf course that is a little more… playable! I think at this stage in the year, being on the road a lot and seeing different courses on a weekly basis, I truly realize and appreciate how good the courses are that I play and practice on. Remedy Oak, Yas Links and Centurion are just fantastic facilities that test your games in a way that will make you a better golfer and probably spoil you in the condition they present on a consistent basis.
Looking forward to getting back in the gym this weekend and working on the game ahead of another event next week. Let’s hope I can get the scoring back on track
Hope you all have a good weekend
Fingers crossed for some low scoring next week, it’s not far away.
All the best Luke
